This loan serves micro-entrepreneurs in groups of 4 to 6 members. With amounts ranging from MMK 150,000 to 1,000,000 (USD 100 to 650), loans start small but build as clients develop the capacity of their businesses. The group guarantee is ideal for clients who do not have the collateral required for traditional bank loans. Loan tenure varies from 6 to 12 months and fortnightly or monthly repayments in the community fit our clients’ busy schedules.

Individual Small Enterprise

This loan, whose name means Golden Future, is designed for small enterprise owners with a dream to expand their businesses. Loan amounts vary from MMK 500,000 to 10,000,000 (USD 325 to 6,500) and run for periods of 6 to 24 months. This loan matches the terms and conditions of the Marharmate group loan but has a repayment schedule and appraisal process that better matches the needs of farming households. Clients repay the principle of their loan over installments scheduled during the harvest season. This loan allows farming families to invest in their crops or cover important expenditures between harvests.

The name of this loan means Golden Harvest and it is designed for the investment needs of small, commercial farmers. Loan amounts range from MMK 500,000 to 5,000,000 (USD 325 to 3,250). Repayment terms are structured over the harvest season.

Tha Pyay Savings Passbook

This account gives clients easy access to their savings from any Alliance branch. With minimal fees and a 10% annual interest rate, this account is great for managing the daily cash of a family or business. 

Regular Tha Pyay Savings

There is also a feature for clients to make regular deposits following a plan that matches their loan repayment schedule. If clients follow the plan, they will benefit from 15% annual interest on regular deposits.

Financial Education

 Alliance works with clients to improve their financial literacy and better manage their money. Financial education messages are built into all loan processes, using flip charts, illustrated stories and videos to pass on important lessons.
